Congress announced it's unlikely it will meet President Obama's August deadline for a sweeping healthcare overhaul.

Meanwhile, U.S. Congressman Louie Gohmert has his own plans on how to tackle the issue.
"Right now the Obama Administration, Pelosi, Waxman and Harry Reed are determined to cram down the healthcare plan that nobody has seen and they're probably not going to let us see it until it's too late just like the cap and trade and the stimulus. It will probably be rammed in at the last minute," Mr. Gohmert says.

He's not alone. Several top members of Congress, both Democrat and Republican, say right now they're not budging because the legislation isn't even written and they say the emerging bill lacks a number of elements essential to preserving what works and fixing what is broken.
