Congressman Louie Gohmert (TX-01) released the following statement Saturday concerning the tragic shooting in Arizona:
“I have no words to fully express my sadness, concern, and anger over the senseless assaults and murders in Tucson. Congresswoman Giffords is an inspiring and devoted representative for the people of Arizona. What is more, she is my friend. My thoughts and prayers have and will continue to go out to her and her family and to all the victims of this horrific attack and their families.”
