Congressman Louie Gohmert (TX-01) released the following statement about Texas' Supreme Court Election Lawsuit:
“As exhibited by the thousands of sworn affidavits, blatant constitutional violations, and numerous electronic and mathematical analyses displaying the statistical impossibilities of a Biden win, it is quite clear that this race was stolen from President Trump and the tens of millions of Americans who voted for him. Those Trump voters who cast completely legal and valid votes were strategically disenfranchised by states that violated the U.S. Constitution, their own state constitution, and their own state law. Texas’ courage in calling out the unconstitutional changes to election laws made in the eleventh hour by Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin should be honored by everyone who wishes to continue to see this country get back to free and fair elections.
“In filing this lawsuit, the state of Texas has once again proved its dedication to our nation’s sovereign law and ultimately, to the will of the American people. Hopefully, a majority of the Supreme Court will show the same reverence for the Constitution that State Attorneys General have by joining in this suit. I look forward to more States joining in the fight to preserve our Republic in this important lawsuit. May God guide and embolden more elected officials to use the tools He has provided to allow us to continue as a free and self-governing Republic.”
